Who is the Apave Energy Sobriety Label for?
The associated requirements and proof methods are adapted regardless of the sector and the size of the structure, from very small businesses to large groups.
Applies to any private or public body responsible for the operation of a residential building housing students.
The labeling criteria are based on the 9 commitments of the standard:
1. Define responsibilities
2. Train and raise awareness among teams
3. Define a measurable policy and objectives
4. Manage consumption and fight against waste
5. Regulate temperatures
6. Implement mobility policies
7. Define a work organization
8. Disseminate educational tools and inform

The benefits of the Apave Energy Sobriety Label
Description
Based on an evaluation framework, this label is accessible to any applicant wishing to certify a residential building accommodating students.
Characteristics
The "Habitat Étudiant" label was created by the AVUF, the Association of University Cities of France, which brings together local authorities (municipalities, agglomerations, metropolises, departments) around the following issue:
"How to recognize the quality of housing in student residences?"
It is based on a framework organized around 6 commitments that concern the areas guaranteeing an ideal living space for students:
Stages and process
1st stage: Send an application for the label by email to the address: apave.certification@apave.com
2nd stage: Initial audit, on-site.
3rd stage: Issuance of the Label by Apave Certification for a validity of three years.
4th stage: Allocation of the performance level based on the score obtained (basic or premium).
5th stage: Allocation of one or more special mentions.
6th stage: Renewal audit on-site, three years after the initial audit.

- A welcoming, secure living space offering diverse services
- A living space promoting study, concerned with the well-being of students and contributing to social connection
- A living space offering enhanced support for international students
- A living space offering enhanced support for students with disabilities
Stages and process
1st stage: Send an application for the label by email to the address: apave.certification@apave.com
2nd stage: Initial audit, on-site.
3rd stage: Issuance of the Label by Apave Certification for a validity of three years.
4th stage: Allocation of the performance level based on the score obtained (basic or premium).
5th stage: Allocation of one or more special mentions.
6th stage: Renewal audit on-site, three years after the initial audit.
Periodicity
Apave Certification grants the applicant an attestation for a validity period of 3 years from the date of the labeling decision.
At this deadline, a renewal audit must be carried out. In case of complaints, a surveillance audit takes place between 12 to 30 months after the initial audit to clear or confirm the revealed doubts.
