The objectives of the prestation Well Treating Nursery School® :
Maltreatment describes a multitude of situations where the suffering of a vulnerable person is revealed.
Conversely, good treatment is a common-sense notion that establishes a relationship of trust and security between fragile people and their caregivers.
Faced with a resurgence of cases of maltreatment, the emergence of the Crèche Bien Traitante® label provides a response to the challenges faced by professionals in the early childhood sector.
Who is the Crèche Bien Traitante® Label for?
This label is aimed at professionals in the early childhood sector who wish to:
- Implement a policy of prevention and combating "maltreatment"
- Promote and develop a culture of good treatment within their nurseries
What are the prerequisites for obtaining the Crèche Bien Traitante® Label?
To obtain the Crèche Bien Traitante® Label, the establishment must meet demanding specifications which are divided into 6 stages:
1. Adhere to the Label's values: all early childhood stakeholders are made aware and involved to enrich and improve practices.
2. Commit to Labeling: the nursery commits to AX'AIDE and a designated advisor supports it and structures the entire preparation phase until the Label is obtained.
3. Train in getting started towards the Label: training is provided to acquire and master the methods and tools necessary for carrying out a self-diagnosis supervised by the Label advisor, who helps to define the actions to be taken to obtain the Label.
4. Develop certifying skills for obtaining the Label: the objective of the training is to develop internal skills that reinforce knowledge and know-how among future professional referents of the structure.
5. Get Labeled: an initial audit is therefore organized in conjunction with the labeling body by Apave Certification et Labellisation.
6. Maintain the Label's achievements: a follow-up audit is planned to verify that the commitments initially planned are respected.
The objective is to validate the dynamics and the continuous improvement approach.

The Well Treating Nursery School® label, founded by Anne Picard, director of AX’AIDE, aims to provide you with a solution to promote kindness and foster benevolent care in establishments welcoming young children.
It stems from:
- an awareness of situations of maltreatment in various forms: physical, medical;
- a desire to implement prevention actions against maltreatment, and to promote a "culture of benevolent care" among early childhood professionals.
This Label is structured around major issues:
- putting the human being back at the heart of the support of the young child
- preserving the rights and integrity of vulnerable people, with kindness, empathy and benevolent care.
This label is designed around 4 fundamental principles:
Information: concerns all the knowledge to which all stakeholders have access in order to evolve in an environment of trust and clarity
Training: concerns all teams in order to value their skills on the notions of maltreatment and the implementation of specific actions to act accordingly and develop a posture that is part of benevolent care
Practice: concerns all professional practices implemented by staff
Management: concerns the management and organisation of the crèche.

Periodicity
- The initial audit is carried out by an Apave Certification auditor.
- The validity period of the Crèche Bien Traitante® Label is 5 years.
- An intermediate surveillance audit is to be conducted after 2.5 years.
- After which, the candidate must re-enter a labeling cycle.
- The validity period of the Crèche Bien Traitante® Label is 5 years.
- An intermediate surveillance audit is to be conducted after 2.5 years.
- After which, the candidate must re-enter a labeling cycle.
