For companies, adopting the HS2® approach guarantees offering elderly or vulnerable people a housing or a service allowing them to live at home as long as possible and in the best conditions.
What is the HS2® Label?
The HS2® labeling approach is voluntary. It consists of the development of old or new buildings but also the deployment of services as well as everything that can contribute to the comfort of life and the preservation of social connection.

- Lighting to prevent falls at night
- Installation of home automation systems
- The existence of connected equipment (fall detectors, automated activity monitors, connected medical devices, etc.)
- The presence of communal areas
- Individual or collective services offered
- The work carried out will enable older people to remain in their own homes by remaining independent for longer
- The HS2® approach intervenes before the loss of independence and offers alternatives to placement in a nursing home or retirement home.
The HS2® approach for service provision will assess several criteria, such as:- Quality organisation.
- Design of the solution, taking into account the needs of seniors and carers.
- Periodic evaluation of the customer experience.
- Integration of the solution with other stakeholders.
- Interoperability of the digital solution with other players in the silver economy.
