What is ISO 22716: Cosmetics GMP ?

Follow the guidelines for the production, control, storage and dispatching of cosmetic products.
Conduct a third party evaluation of the good manufacturing practices (and of the quality system) of establishments that produce products or raw materials for the cosmetics sector. This evaluation is carried out according to international standard ISO 22716 V2007.
Third party evaluation, according to the procedures that are proper to the certifying bodies, of the manufacturing, packaging, storage (outside of transport) of the quality control, purchasing, commercial, of the Quality Department and of the related departments (cleaning, maintenance, etc.).
The standard does not cover the R&D activity. The third party evaluation certifies that an independent entity has judge the conformity, which provides guarantees with respect to a self-evaluation or self-certification, which could be reproached for a lack of impartiality. Possibility to audit the suppliers or one's own entities.
Evaluation in the form of on-site observations, examination of documents and records, interviews, that cover the requirements of the standard.
Deliverables: detailed report provided at the end of the service and third party evaluation certificate if the conditions are met.
