Goals
prestation-objectifs-seointro Well-treatment Facility Label :
Maltreatment describes a multitude of situations where the suffering of a vulnerable person is revealed.
Conversely, benevolent care is a common-sense notion that establishes a relationship of trust and security between fragile people and their caregivers.
Faced with a resurgence of cases of maltreatment, the appearance of the Caring Establishment Label® provides an answer to the challenges of professionals in the social / medico-social sectors, caregivers and fragile people.
Who is the Caring Establishment Label® for?
This label is aimed at professionals in the social and medico-social sector who wish to:
- Implement a prevention and fight against "maltreatment" policy
- Promote and develop a culture of benevolent care within their establishments
What are the prerequisites for obtaining the Caring Establishment Label®?
To obtain the Caring Establishment Label®, the establishment must meet demanding specifications which are broken down into 6 steps:
1. Adhere to the values of the Label: all healthcare actors are aware and involved to enrich and improve practices.
2. Commit to Labeling: the establishment commits to AX’AIDE and a designated advisor supports it and structures the entire preparation phase until obtaining the Label.
3. Train for the start-up towards the Label: training is provided to acquire and master the methods as well as the tools necessary for carrying out a self-diagnosis supervised by the Label advisor, which helps to define the actions to be implemented to obtain the Label.
4. Develop certifying skills for obtaining the Label: the objective of the training is to develop internal skills that reinforce knowledge and know-how among the future professional referents of the structure.
5. Get Labeled: an initial audit is then organized in connection with the labeling body by Apave Certification and Labeling.
6. Maintain the achievements of the Label: a follow-up audit is planned to verify that the commitments initially planned are respected.
The objective is to validate the dynamics and the continuous improvement approach.

Description
The Well-Treatment Facility Label® label, founded by Anne Picard, director of AX'AIDE, aims to provide a solution to promote kindness and foster good treatment in establishments welcoming vulnerable people (children, the elderly, the sick, people with disabilities, etc.).
It is the result of:
- an awareness of situations of abuse in different forms: physical, medical;
- a desire to implement measures to prevent abuse and to promote a ‘culture of good treatment’ among professionals.
This Label is based on major issues:
- putting the human being back at the heart of the support provided to the dependent person,
- preserving the rights and integrity of vulnerable people, with kindness, empathy and good treatment.
This label is designed around 4 fundamental principles:
Information: concerns all the knowledge to which all stakeholders have access in order to operate in an environment of trust and clarity.
Training: concerns all teams in order to enhance their skills in the areas of abuse and the implementation of specific actions to act accordingly and develop an attitude that is in line with positive treatment
Practice: concerns all professional practices implemented by the staff
Management: concerns the management and organisation of the establishment. The culture of well-treatment is at the centre of the establishment's governance
These four principles are cross-cutting and can be found throughout the specifications.
Characteristics
This label is a recognition for all establishments that commit to:
- comply with specifications on good practices relating to the proper treatment, ethics, interpersonal skills and know-how with regard to these individuals,
- preserve and defend the rights of the dependent persons entrusted to them.
This approach, which is led by the management, requires the support of all the teams. It is based on the requirements of the regulations and best practice recommendations of the ANESM (National Agency for the Evaluation and Quality of Social and Medico-Social Establishments and Services)
Stages and process
1. The establishment applies to AX'AIDE for a commitment to labelling.
2. A labelling diagnosis/audit is carried out to identify areas for improvement and actions to be implemented according to a defined plan.
The establishment will then be able to display the ‘En route pour le Label’ logo.
3. The establishment has two years to implement the various actions recommended in the audit.
4. The labelling and the commitment to maintaining the label.
Apave Certification is involved in:
